There's a term for this "the sunk cost falicy"

But I can never stay on the same track long enough to spend a lot of time making anything! So, HAH!

I think this one is a particularly good example for those in relationships that aren’t working. The sunk cost fallacy.

some relationships are mutually beneficial, and other relationships aren't worth the effort. The sunk cost fallacy is dangerous enough all on its own. But in relationships, where it'd easily be accompanied by fallacy of change thinking, it is a death trap.
