What's wrong with crafters' conferences in Spain? Instead of talking about crafting, they talk about technology. The goal shouldn't be a mass conference or a conference for the majority, but rather to talk about what the conference is supposed to be about.

If I wanted a technology conference, I'd go to one, not a crafting conference 🤦 I'm not going to pay for travel + hotel + tickets to see what I can see elsewhere, even on YouTube 🤦

I get your point. From my experience, I would say most have evolved so that more people are exposed to the crafting mindset, which is still present around. Especially in the hall conversations and the typical table that's the meeting point for katas all day long. That, you won't get on YouTube.

Back in the day at Codurance we did work on identifying conferences, making a clear distinction between conferences with in-depth topics and conferences that cover a lot of ground But with little detail; if the conferences that previously had depth now lack it, there is no differentiating factor.
