Sick af to be gaslit for a month when we all knew this was going to be the announcement. Bye Affinity! Your very incomplete feeling software will not be missed and I can stop waiting for you to catch up to the rest of the design tools out there. AI was not the answer.

Same! Was not worth the effort in the end. I was willing to put up with some of its drawbacks in the hopes they would eventually catch up, but as it stands designer still can’t even do image trace so what is the point.

Heads up on the new Affinity program. You can tell them not to use your content to train AI, BUT, there is another AI setting that is on by default until you turn it off. You need to go to your account settings and switch it off. I just found it switched on by default.
