excited for the post-covid exposure pill to be gated by doctors so that nobody will ever actually have access to it in a timely manner when they need it let alone be able to access it as a precautionary thing before potential exposures like having to see a dentist ... i may be a bit pessimistic

which medication is this? But idk as someone that taken a lot of meds, in general its always a slow process for newer meds. Even ones that been out for almost a decade sometimes.

the only (other?) prophylaxis I'm aware of is 20mg cetirizine & 20mg loratadine every 12 hours, and that's based on COVID liking H1 histamine receptors. (those are safe doses, though if like me you have kidney concerns, get kidney function tests done regularly.)
