Can we PLEASE have public events and third places that don't have to play music at such high volumes that I can't even hear myself think, much less comfortably have a conversation? I am so tired of being excluded from social life in this way. Also lets do away with the requirement to drink. Thanks.

public libraries have a lot of cool and fun events and the bigger ones often have cafeterias

Here's the thing. I don't want to go to a public library, I'm not really that kind of person. I want to go to a gay bar to socialize there with people I am interested in. I think those spaces should be accessible to me. I want to be able to participate in nightlife just like everyone else.
