I’m not sure many people realize Memphis has also been under a massive ICE/ATF/FBI deployment, as well as bring policed by the Tennessee National Gaurd. This has been in place since last fall. People have died. Guardsmen shot a 20 year-old in the back.

Let me just declare some allegiance here as a kid with a mom, aunt, and uncle from TN (and whose parents met in Nashville): Memphis is the best city in Tennessee East Tennessee is my favorite region of the state. I love Appalachia. But Memphis simply rules. You’re missing out if you’ve never been.
