Arming teachers does nothing to protect our children from gun violence. Data shows these reactive initiatives are ineffective, make students and staff feel less safe, and only bring new risks into schools.

Despite this, a staggering 15 states have laws on the books that explicitly authorize arming teachers. Our kids deserve meaningful solutions that prevent gun violence in their schools before it happens.
