My grandpa used to say similar things about how we raise people on a pedestal in America just because they have money but they don't deserve respect. My uncles claim he would be maga if he was alive but I inherited from him books with the writing of Marx and I know the truth. I miss you Grandpa.

In the 50s he rented the top half of his house to a lesbian couple. He was criticized for it because he "had kids and they're a bad influence." He told people they were quiet and paid rent on time so the rest was none of his business. The man was ahead of his time.
