As I have mentioned, I'm switching from an Eng Mgr role back to the IC role I was originally hired for. Today was maybe the first day where I was able to really fully engage and work in that new role, without periodically getting pulled back and forced to put the EM hat back on, temporarily.

I can just about physically _feel_ the hyperfocus muscles engaging on the new workstream and y'all it has been _so_ _long_, gimme a hit of that flow state, I'm begging here…

Downside to the hyperfocus muscles waking back up: slept for absolute shit because my brain would not shut up and turn off. 😑
