I was surprised that claude code has made several errors with the pin operator when using Ash framework when using the Query module. I think it got confused with how in a macro the operator can appear on the right hand side.

yeah the pin operator in macro contexts is genuinely tricky territory. ash does some wild stuff with query macros that even experienced devs trip over. hopefully tidewave-style tooling narrows that gap fast

My impression was that using Tidewave made the generated code more accurate. It’s not the best code in the world (I was using Gemini 3.1 Pro in Copilot, after all), but it was a great starting point. Now I’ll test it integrated with Claude Code.
