I'm not entirely sure if it fits the question, but I'd love to see it available on Bazaar for stupid-easy setup and maintenance across different Linux distros, namely atomic ones such as Bazzite. A lot of people defecting to the penguin as Windows becomes an AI hellscape, you know?

Believe me I've looked into this. Problem is that what they actually do (for anything) is essentially render it and OCR it. So if it's human-readable it's them-readable. The best I've found around this right now is publishing with Fade In Access vs. distributing a PDF.

Yeah, that arms race is basically already lost. Tools like textsnap on Github do exactly that OCR step locally in one command, no API needed. Scrambling just adds friction, not a real wall

I keep looking into it, though. At a certain point something like that just becomes an arms race.
