Ugh, your aunts' actions have been unkind to both you and the cat. At least if the cat had a robotic feeder, you could interact less

She’s a fussy eater and needs small meals multiple times a day or she has a tendency to throw them up. But yeah. She’s not a happy cat. The best I can do is give her plenty of packing paper to roll around in (the only thing she seems to enjoy) and avoid ever reaching in her direction (dangerous).

Our food-focused cat would eat all her food too quickly (so.etimes throwing that up), and then think she had an upset tummy as she got hungrier during the day, sometimes throwing up bile multiple times around the house. So her robotic feeder feeds her every 4 hours (also, she gets diet food)

Wait, hold up. They dumped the cat on you for an indeterminate amount of time? NOPE. I'd send my aunt a message being like "you have 3 days to make other arrangements or I'm surrendering this cat."

First it was going to be 2 - 3 weeks while they went to Texas to visit their grandkids. But their departure date kept moving, and then they had to drop the cat off early (3 weeks) because it was inconvenient to drop the cat off just before they left, and now it's probably 3 weeks before they're home

That's unreasonable!
