toronto: has anyone noticed a particularly announcement-happy subway driver recently? this is the second time i've had them this week and it's driving me a little mad. sounds like an eager young transit enthusiast with too much power.

no, i mostly ride line 1 and i'm pretty sure this person is new. i might find crawfy's announcements endearing, but this person mostly just makes verbose announcements about station exits and nearby destinations. it's useful information but completely overwhelming.

i don't want my announcements delivered in full sentences, much less to be told "good morning" and "please be advised" and "have a good weekend" ahead of every damn station
