Had one final bowl at what appears to be an unfortunately sundowning pass-time of Candlepin Bowling. Westport Lanes closes its doors tomorrow at 7PM and is being scrapped and torn down. There was a great showing for one of the final nights, and I was able to get a tour of the back of house

It just seems to show how culture has shifted since the day these places were built, gone are the days where there were local hang-out spots where you'd just roll in and find some of your friends also there and hang out. Nostalgic for a time I never lived I suppose....
