So, my boss and half the management at my central office were fired today… I’m not privy to exactly what went down. The word is that someone at Corporate was not happy and they’re bringing in someone else to address things. I’m not sure how to feel, honestly.

I’m at a remote office but I had met with my boss yesterday and he didn’t say anything about this. He texted me that he was gone and I didn’t want to pry but I thanked him for all the help he’s given me over the last seven years.

I don’t know what’s going to shake out from all this. I had ppl calling and texting me when the news came out and I spent a couple hours on the phone with them today. I’m just telling everyone to relax and we’ll move forward from here.

It’s kinda sad that no one acrually knows what all I do there until it doesn’t get done. When I went to nights, maintenance wasn’t getting cleared as quickly. Site management started complaining last week because I was no longer on days to resolve the issues. 🤷‍♀️

The uncertainty is stressful. I’m kinda hoping I can meet with the regional manager tomorrow. I saw him at the central office when I was in today but I didn’t know why there were so many ppl there until I’d already left.
