Been a fan of Mass Effect for over 18 years, I still remember the first time I ever played it and the game just instantly took over my brain. Here's my original first hour review from January 2008 firsthour.net/first-hour-r...

The original Mass Effect became a top three game of all-time for me, maybe second only to Chrono Trigger, I think this happened AFTER Mass Effect 2 came out and I began to appreciate what the original did even more. Here's my full review of the original game: firsthour.net/first-hour-r...

I anticipated Mass Effect 2 like no other game since Majora's Mask, and it 100% lived up to its predecessor and the hype firsthour.net/first-hour-r...

Such an incredible opening and premise to build the entire game off recruiting team members towards the final suicide mission firsthour.net/full-review/...

Between Mass Effect 2 and 3 we had our second child and we named them Shepard after the hero of the franchise, I wish more people recognized the name! firsthour.net/first-hour-r...

I wrote about Mass Effect on my site no less than 22 more times, reviewing basically every piece of content and DLC, the related novels, and more. Thank you Bioware!

and as much as I loved Mass Effect I have never played The Citadel DLC because it came out well after I had wrapped up the series (and replayed Mass Effect 3 three times for all the achievements), I gotta get to that!
