63 years ago (1963) only 707s, 880s 990s and DC8s were the US jets in service. The 727 didn't arrive till Feb 64. DC-Pistons, Connies, piston Convairs and Martins, Viscounts, Electras and F27s were still common. The 747 EIS was Jan 70. DC9 and BAC 111 still a few years away.
