busy today: in my tiny room builder you can now place things on the walls, as well as add images and videos plus you can place things on top of each other (makes it so much easier to place stuff 😅) my room: flo-bit.dev/room/?handle... create your own at: flo-bit.dev/room/

This seems cool. What was the motivation behind creating this?

A friend sent me this video and i was thinking: would be cool if that ran on bluesky and everyone could design their own houses and you could walk around the city. Decided to start from the ground up with just the room designer 🧑‍🎨 but big plans for that still 🫣

This video is mind blowing. If I’m getting it right, Statville is not an app but an insta account where every follower is a citizen, and the city landscape is created and shown there as an animation? And you’re creating an app that allows creating and designing a digital room for real.

yeah statville is an instagram account and the guy behind it renders the city (made in blender) every so often with the number of house == number of followers and yeah I'm (trying to) build this as an actual app where u can join the city, design ur room/house and walk around seeing everyone else
