I needed to see this today. I’ve been facing over 4 months of non-stop, all encompassing hacking of my digital equipment connected to the net. Mind you, this is after being in exile for 15 years. It’s all about silencing the new investigative stories. Blocking & intercepting texts, emails & calls.

According to whistleblowers speaking to The Electronic Intifada, CPJ CEO Jodie Ginsberg canceled the index last August in a calculated move to prevent Israel from topping the list. The Impunity Index, published since 2008, ranks countries by the rate of unsolved murders of journalists relative to population over a 10-year rolling period

I am against any control of journalists, as they should be free to report their findings. However, it has been DECADES since we in the US have had journalists who were willing to dig into the issues … instead, most just reflect/amplify the trending propaganda lines ...

These facts are known by ALL journalists. Covering war is exceptionally dangerous for journalists, involving extreme risks such as targeted killings, kidnapping, and accidental death from crossfire. Journalists also face high rates of PTSD, depression, and severe psychological distress.

It's in their interest to do so. trump is hastening global economic collapse. Capital can't survive without our money feeding it. Impoverished populations equals the end of capital. There's a reason oligarchs invest in liberal democracies = stable governments and a more even distribution of wealth.

On World Press Freedom Day, let's remember that Israel is the most prolific killer of journalists in our time. According to @pressfreedom.bsky.social, at least 129 journalists and media workers were killed in 2025 — two-thirds of them by Israel.

exactly...let's hope they actually get the truth spread out there alot! way too much disinformation in media...mostly a Vichy thing now...you gotta go to individual podcasts to get proper reporting and analysis...
