These days, it’s only called a recession when it starts hurting the wealthiest. The rest of us have been continuously fucked since a senile B movie actor raided social security to pay for deficit spending after dropping the top tax rate from 70% to 38.5%.

History can repeat (with one AI and data center difference): New idea. Huge investment. Many suppliers enter market. Oversupply. Commodity pricing, cost plus or even cost minus. (Demand destruction: Jamie Dimon, JP Morgan CEO, realizes that AI produces unreliable output) Bubble bursts bigly.

"Putin is pleased with these results. So are the tech oligarchs that run our country. The people? What about those leeches? We'll continue taxing them until "Life" is essentially a subscription product." Eat the fucking rich.

So --- if we don't kowtow to your profitmongering whims, our economy goes in the tank? Fine. Let it go in the tank. We'll invest in criminal prosecutions, prisons built on islands prone to "life-threatening over-wash" during severe storms, and put you on a diet of USDA-rejected imported dog food.

And who’s going to pay for the return of these “investments”...? 🎶 When the bubble goes down, ya better be ready (ya better be ready)... 🎶 🎶 When the bubble goes down, ya better be ready (ya better be ready)... 🎶 ...

When I was in college, LAN were being installed the one of the building, starting on the 1st floor. By the time I graduated, they were just starting the top floor, by that time, everyone had already converted to high speed Wi-Fi, making the LAN lines obsolete. This is a story about data centers.

By “recession“ you mean more money not going to billionaires, correct? And somehow that should be a concern to people who work for minimum wages or even less?

Data centres are a ponzi scheme that raised so much money, so fast, the biggest promoters are panicking and ratcheting it back themselves, because the blowback of implosion would be a financial extinction event.
