I know I'm being petty about this but I'm glad the airlines are starting to suffer financially. They've been price gouging the traveling public for 15 maybe even 20 years.

Companies in the 1960s and 1970s often faced cyclical swings, soaring inflation, stagflation, and oil crises that interrupted growth, unlike the steady growth expectations common today. I'd like to see the economy get back to rational expectations.
