I think for some (largely white people), the problem with Trump is that he inconveniences them by unabashedly perpetuating the violence and racism that is fundamental to the system, one they wish to ignore because they benefit from it with their petty privileges

Over 70 million people voted FOR Trump. Trump is American-made. The US is an imperialist nation, built on a military-industrial complex, and a carceral state. No matter who won in 2024, America has a fascism problem I wouldn’t want to live in a house with 1 fascist, much less millions of them…
