KDE Plasma was the choice for the new Laptop 12 because of the high quality stylus and touchscreen support.

I have experience on this. I couldn't make a third-party stylus work, I don't know why. The Framework stylus works without installing anything, but in X11 OSs it's flaky and hard to configure buttons. I had the best results under Fedora and Nobara.

The fingerprint reader is the number one missing feature of the original Laptop 12. I was super hopeful that y'all would announce a fingerprint module that could slot into one of the expansion bays. Feels slightly counter to the upgradable ethos to require all new internals for this.

The fingerprint reader is backwards compatible with the original Framework Laptop 12 so you can order just the FPR from the marketplace if that’s all you want to upgrade

Excited to see the new options. The backlit keyboard choice seems pretty limited for now. Will it exist with the lavendar touchpad?

Now with more DDH! You didn't ask to fund a right-wing fascist but Framework is using your money to do just that!

Woah, quite an upgrade! Were there any changes to the screen? I recall the less than average performance of the screen being the main reason I didn’t get one

Is the frame still flimsy feeling? My biggest regret with buying a laptop from y'all is it feels like my laptop will fall apart if I put any pressure on it accidentally (not to mention the well-known whole "press near the trackpad and it clicks" problem...)
