We're part research lab, part game studio, part software foundation, part center of excellence. We pull together science, software and technology, hybrid intelligence, user experience and human-centered design, games, media, and community development.

We work towards participatory, community-driven scientific discovery and R&D, engaging broad, diverse communities and bringing capacity to under-resourced problems. We employ the approachability, engagement, and joy of games alongside the power of combining human intuition and advanced computation.

We envision a world where everyone’s quality of life improves through participatory, equitable, and ethical scientific research and technology development and deployment.
