URGENT request for help: I need to build a case (soon) that justifies the "broader impact" of my research (yes, this is related to recent events in the US). If you have ever used Chartability or Data Navigator in your work in any capacity, I would love to know! Please email (fje@cmu.edu) or dm me.

I am *especially* hoping to demonstrate ways that my work informed public/gov/policy/open source/standards-related projects. So if you're in any of these contexts, please consider reaching out to let me know. Of course, *any* impact (outside of research) would be huge to know about!

I don't need to know details (for those that can't divulge specifics), but I'd love to be able to say "Z company used Chartability" or "XYZ project used Data Navigator." Big bonus if there are public links to things I can point to! Even bigger bonus if those links mention my work somewhere!

Tagging some folks for visibility but also because y'all may have leads for me (forgive me): @fossheim.bsky.social @tink.uk @alangwilson.bsky.social @jonathanzong.com @crystaljjlee.com @ixek.bsky.social @juruwolfe.bsky.social @jaimetanner.bsky.social @shepazu.bsky.social @codingchaos.bsky.social

I assigned it as a reading in my undergraduate accessibility class, courses.cs.washington.edu/courses/cse4...

Hi! I did not know about your work until just now but I will be incorporating it into my graduate accessibility course for library science. I'm up in canada
