its frustrating to see this shit encroach on my hobbies its frustrating to see AI hacks turn hobbies into hustling, like a rat race to the bottom, to suck as much profit out of these, and leave nothing in return I'm not HERE to compete, I'm here to HAVE FUN, something they clearly can't understand

I'm REALLY worried devlogs will be gone someday, because of AI bros stealing concepts and putting half-baked slop on steam at speeds real devs can't keep up with I HATE the fact shadowdropping games (complete suicide for an indie these days btw) may be the only feasible way to ward off that shit

idk... I've been super depressed for the last few years, and I guess gamedev to me is something that provided relief from the horrors of a post covid world to know there's a chance it'll die soon, a corpse of what was puppeteered by AI bros wearing its skin, is something I don't wanna think about
