This. People will boycott better written shows for less atrocious crimes. But the second its Harry Potter it's "muh nostalgia!"

It's pointless to just *not watch* the hairy potter show; we need to *BOYCOTT HBO*. They pay rowling a ton of money, and she invests it in hate. Boycott is a real thing people can do, they did it with Disney+ in support of Jimmy Kimmel even.

I barely ever see anyone say "boycott" though! A couple weeks ago someone had a good post about jkr and the hp shite and what it funds and how she rejects it, but she said nothing about HBO! And I looked at her bio and turns out she's a screenwriter based in LA (womp).

I feel like its so easy to boycott something like a streaming service vs a grocery store or even amazon and ppl are willingto boycott those. It boggles my mind. If youre that bored without your shows hang out with some friends. Read books. Hell... pirate the non jkr HBO shows.
