The Botkins work got served hot and fresh to my sisters and other women in my life. While there's nuance for all the things I (we?) wish it said, it's still nice to read.

Considering the amount of harm they did to impressionable young girls and women, I'm not inclined to accept that apology yet.

Somebody needs to model the best of purported Christian philosophy to them (tolerance, forgiveness). Might as well be the very people they previously demonized.

Better late than never, I guess. I'm inclined to believe their recantation emanates from genuine regret. But I also wonder if perhaps they've lost a lot of followers and figured a pivot was in order to stay current and keep their audience engaged.
