It wasn't even just an ad for polymarket. The ad mocked the fact that they placed an ad in your cookie. They're poking fun at the fact that you can't escape late stage capitalism no matter where you go or what you do. The creators of this dystopia are laughing at you being stuck in their dystopia

Hey I love your work but maybe ease up on the click-bait headline? How hard is it to just say "Man cracks open fortune cookie: disgusted to find polymarket ad inside"
