This month, I'll be making one pixel art doodle per day for #Inktober. I've never participated in one of these challenges before... and I could definitely use the practice. I'll be posting them as replies in this thread, to try and keep things tidy. 🧵

#Inktober 2026 Day 1: "apple" Our detective has his work cut out for him in the seedy underbelly of this city...

#Inktober 2026 Day 2: "relic" "First, I saw it in my dream. Then, it appeared on my bedside table. Even when I go outside, I feel its gaze in the back of my mind. What is it trying to tell me?"

#Inktober 2026 Day 3: "miniature" "It's best to leave them alone. We can't know that our touch is sufficiently deft or that our observation is unobserved."

#Inktober 2026 Day 4: "cactus" "I should probably have bought my pots elsewhere for my new gardening project..."

#Inktober 2026 Day 5: "smack" "Those judges won't know what hit 'em. Battle Rutabaga is as good as mine!" "Wait. How many of those peppers did you use?" "Every single one that was in the pantry. Why?"

#Inktober 2026 Day 6: "ogre" Two heads, two minds, two souls... and one very understanding tailor.

#Inktober 2026 Day 7: "panic" At this scale, his mischievous chortling was a terrifying rumble.

#Inktober 2026 Day 8: "stinky" Why everyone else avoids this area, he nose not.

#Inktober 2026 Day 9: "ram" Patterns emerge in these fleeting thoughts...

#Inktober 2026 Day 10: "mystical" Not all of the ornaments are necessary, but they are fun.

#Inktober 2026 Day 11: "rescue" It's a little old-fashioned, but he appreciates that the Exit Wizard still runs.

#Inktober 2026 Day 12: "toss" A risky manoeuvre. Let's hope it lands well.

#Inktober 2026 Day 13: "flimsy" It'll be fine. Just don't tell them that they're the only thing holding the raft together.

#Inktober 2026 Day 14: "lady" As serene as the lake she emerged from.

#Inktober 2026 Day 15: "hooray" The hats are mandatory.

#Inktober 2026 Day 16: "gangly" Partners in business. Also a formidable team in Two-Headed Giant.

#Inktober 2026 Day 18: "flightless" He's looking forward to this retreat. It'll help him feel more grounded.

#Inktober 2026 Day 19: "confused" He learned the hard way not to start trouble at the Paradox Club.

#Inktober 2026 Day 20: "lounge" The password changes every week, but the ambience is worth it.
