AAA companies deciding they are tech companies and not bound by the real world constraints like the rest of the entertainment industry has been an absolute travesty for countless people and the art as a whole.

This is what happens when the finance-bros are allowed to make decisions. They should _never_ be allowed to wield any kind of decision making power. At most they should be allowed to work in an advisory role to people who actually _like_ the product in question. Unfortunately that's not reality.
