#Webdesign idea from #Apple for #SaaS builders Let users pause animations. Moving elements in the background compete for attention. When someone's trying to actually read your copy, a distracting animation can easily pull them away from your precious copy.

does this include a global toggle or just per-element?

Apple's toggle is only for the hero section. The rest is animated. However, I've seen other examples where the toggle applies for the whole site. Some even label it as "Reduce motion".

reduce motion is usually a system-level setting. making users find a site-specific toggle feels like extra friction.
