Am I the only one who's getting tired of how self-aware writing in shows/movies based on popular franchises tends to be these days? Sparingly it's fine, but it's never used that way. The writers NEED to constantly let you know that they're aware of the tropes, then drench it in hilarious "irony".

I don't have P+, so I can't watch it, but I'm not a fan of the animation style at all. Also, why does everything have to imitate Rick & Morty now? When I play GA, I don't think "comedy." www.youtube.com/watch?v=sStb...

100% hard agree. I can't say that I thought the world ever needed a Golden Axe show in the first place but having seen the trailer I'm not convinced it really didn't need it. Are people so bereft of ideas that it has come to this? Play to your strengths! Comix Zone, the comic!

No clue. I don't watch anything made after 1998.

The new Masters of the Universe movie might not have worked without it, but if it's becoming too prevalent in entertainment, i agree.

It’s such a tiresome trope in this day and age… If its style of humor was like that of Korgoth of Barbaria, it wouldn’t been a problem.

Give me Kröd Mändoon and the Flaming Sword of Fire. Everything that exists should just be remaking that show.

I definitely agree with you but I wonder what they could do with Golden Axe otherwise, the characterization is so thin... almost like they shouldn't have made it at all...
