Finally got around to watching the GTA 6 thing on Netflix of all places (WTF?). Looks like a GTA game to me. I tried to find something to complain about but can't really. Maybe some dropped frames but whatever. I'll be playing for sure, looks dope. Played the hell out of part 5.

I only ever played the hell out of the original Vice City and IV. I tried V on PS3 like 10 years ago, died within the first 30 seconds of starting the game and never ever touched it again. I did buy it on PS5 because it was super cheap so maybe I'll give it another shot. The hype for VI is bonkers.

The opening if 5 is pretty tough, especially when you're new to the game and not quite familiar with things yet.

I’m 50/50 on it. It looks great, I hope it’s a good game, but I am just not that hyped for it. (Look, after playing 200+ hours of RDR2 and GTA 5 combined, I feel content with what I experienced with both games)

It didn’t really drop any frames during gameplay. The thing you’re seeing is the weird camera stutter the Rage engine suffers from. It’s been doing it since GTA IV, and also happens at high framerates.

It’s not even just the missing disc, there’ll be no map printout either. GTA IV also came with a manual dressed up as a Liberty City Tour Guide - what a time! Also f**k Sony/MS. I’ll happily wait for PC, maybe even longer.

I'm hesitant about the new mechanic of having to break in to vehicles differently and requiring specific tools? I am wondering how much it will kill the momentum instead of just being able to grab any vehicle you want anytime. Realism can be a fun killer sometimes.
