I can empathise where it comes from, but the take that “AI is simply a tool to enhance my work, and isn’t ever going to replace humans” really doesn’t sit well with me. 😔 Why should that be true when business incentives are such that all human creativity is better optimised away?

the only people i've seen making this argument use ai to replace literally all the creative aspect of art and they just copy what it produces (out of stolen work from other artists, mind you). dunno how they delude themselves.

AI is a solution to a human-made problem, it's the snake biting its own tail. Many attempting this will fall due to fundamental issues. Doing it for the wrong reasons
