An amazing day with a bunch of Suffolk-based @climateambassadors.bsky.social at @suffolkwildlife.bsky.social's Foxburrow Nature Reserve. A rustic little site perfect for an intimate day of networking. SWT's Sophie MM a great host, who ran a lovely outdoor activity exploring nature through poetry.

We played an icebreaker game I called “Ambassadors Assemble!” where we got to know each other’s skills, passions and expertise using scenarios of the kind of help education settings might need.

We practiced some National Education Nature Park habitat mapping, heard from Let's Go Zero about joined up support and the ‘oil-heated settings’ programme, and shared stories, ideas, learnings and wisdom. All with a hearty vegan lunch buffet to boot.

We overrun a little, but you could feel the sadness that the day had to come to an end. Thanks again to Sophie for hosting, and thanks to my lovely sister project colleagues Nige' (@letsgozero.bsky.social) and Phoebe (National Education Nature Park) - a day of ‘how we do this together?'
