In 23% of 906 problems I logged in 259 Twitch streams of 46 indie games, the player seemed unsure about a rule, control or item effect. It came up in 45 games. Next Fest starts Monday. Watch a stream of your demo; note each time the player asks what something does. #gamedev

that tracks with what I see in playtests too. half the "bugs" people file are just rules we never explained. watching one stream of your own demo before Next Fest is cheap insurance

Rules nobody explained turning into bug reports is a good way to put it. Is Beacon Breakers in Next Fest next week? We'll be tallying fest streams all week, so if it is, we can tell you on Monday night whether anyone picked it up.

nah not this time, it's an Android game still in closed testing on Google Play. appreciate the offer though, curious what your tally shows

After day one, fewer than one demo in ten had a single Twitch stream, and only 237 drew three or more different streamers. Two demos pulled roughly 800 to 900 streamers each. Good luck with the closed test on Google Play.
