The first of these ICE removals has taken off, an Eastern Airlines 767, likely headed for a fuel/crew change stop in Senegal. This will be a thread for all three trips over the next few days.

Three ICE charters are currently staging for Africa removals over the next 24 hours. A small jet at Mesa, AZ, a small jet at Harlingen, TX, and a large jet at Alexandria, LA. All could include third-country removals, particularly the last one. Gonna be a bad week.

Overnight, this Eastern ICE charter landed in Senegal, a likely fuel stop, and has now landed in Sierra Leone, a likely third-country removal. This will be the fourth TCR to Sierra Leone. Migrant passengers have been shackled for at least 13 hours. There are likely more stops.

This Eastern ICE flight has now landed in Ghana. Not all ICE flights that land in Ghana are third-country removals, but because of the charter carrier and the route pattern here, I suspect this one is. Migrants onboard have been shackled for at least 17 hours.

The Eastern ICE jet has now made a third removal stop, to Cameroon. This is almost certainly a third-country removal. Migrant passengers onboard have been shackled for at least 20 hours.

As predicted, the third ICE charter, this one operated by Talon Air, has now taken off. Based on information I’ve received, I believe there are Mauritanians and Somalis onboard. This would be the third removal flight of Somalis in as many weeks.

Wow. This Eastern ICE flight has made a fourth stop, to another third-country removal “host” country. This may very well be the first quadruple TCR. Migrant passengers onboard have been shackled for at least 25 hours. (Deleted and reposted to fix a broken thread.)

The Journey ICE flight has arrived in Senegal from Harlingen, TX. After fueling and changing crew, it will begin making removal stops. Migrant passengers onboard have been shackled at the ankles and wrists attached to a waist chain for at least 10 hours.

The Talon ICE flight is refueling in San Juan. I expect the next stop to be Mauritania. I am going to bed, more on these removals tomorrow. Say a prayer for the people onboard. 📿

Overnight: —The Eastern ICE flight landed in Senegal for crew layover. After four TCR stops, it is done. —The Journey ICE flight landed in Angola, a likely removal stop, and is now flying SE. —The Talon ICE flight landed in Mauritania, a likely removal stop, and is now refueling in Senegal.

The Journey ICE charter has now landed in Zambia, a likely removal of Zambian nationals. Zambia is not a known third-country removal “host.” Migrants onboard have been shackled at the ankles and wrists attached to a waist chain for at least 19 hours.

The Third-Country Removal Tracker has been updated with yesterday's four likely third-country removals to Cameroon, Ghana, Liberia, and Sierra Leone. I have also updated the Equatorial Guinea entry with new info about the people expelled there. gillianbrockell.com/tracking-all...

gillianbrockell.comTracking All of Trump’s Known Third-Country RemovalsTrump's ICE has expelled an estimated 25,000 people to countries where they have no ties. Find out where they are going, what happens to them, and who profits.

The Journey ICE flight has now landed in Central African Republic, a likely third-country removal. This would be the fourth time ICE has expelled non-citizen migrants to CAR. Migrants onboard have been shackled for at least 24 hours.

Seven hours later, the Talon ICE charter jet is still in Dakar. I had expected it to deport Somalis via Kenya. Possible reasons: 1. Bad info, no Kenya stop was ever planned. 2. Kenya stop was canceled for some reason. 3. Kenya stop still planned but plane delayed in Dakar for some reason. 🤷‍♀️

The Journey ICE jet has now landed in Ghana. I suspect that because there was a TCR to Ghana yesterday, and because of crew time limits, this is likely a layover stop rather than a removal. Just an educated guess.

The Talon ICE jet is now returning to the US, so no removal of Somalis via Kenya as I had expected. However, overnight another ICE charter left Mesa and is now heading for Africa. Pretty unusual to see an Africa removal begin this late in the week.

Overnight, the fourth ICE charter to Africa landed in Kenya — likely transferring Somalis to a local charter for the last leg — and then made a removal stop to Ethiopia. Migrant passengers onboard were shackled for at least 28 hours.
