I just launched 20 apps that I built over the last several years, and a screensaver that I built whilst waiting for App Store Review! blog.gingerbeardman.com/2026/04/17/t... 1/22

/22 Barfly (macOS) Track views, downloads, and purchases for your itch.io games in the menu bar. Use delta tracking with configurable time periods (one hour to one week) and refresh on a schedule. Keep historic data. apps.apple.com/app/apple-st...

/22 Brutify (macOS, TestFlight) Optimise images without losing quality. Drop in images or folders for perfectly optimised JPEG, PNG, GIF, and WebP assets. Alternative to the Intel-only ImageOptim.

/22 Dottie (macOS, TestFlight) A native Mac pixel art editor built from scratch. Drawing tools, layers with onion skinning, frame-based animation, custom palettes with Lospec import, and export to PNG, GIF, SVG, and sprite sheets. An alternative to Aseprite, Piskel, etc.

/22 Driveaway (macOS) Removes macOS metadata junk from external drives before you eject them. No more .DS_Store files, Spotlight indexes, and AppleDouble resource forks cluttering up your USB drives and SD cards. Started as an xbar script. apps.apple.com/app/apple-st...

/22 EQer (macOS) A system-wide 10-band equaliser that processes every app on your Mac in real time. Pick a preset, drag the curve, or paste your Audiogram data and let it calculate the right listening curve for your hearing. apps.apple.com/app/apple-st...
