Hey, if you're posting AI things, maybe don't use the Photography hashtag? Like, I get it's a photo, but it doesn't use any of the aspects of photography to create and feels kinda icky.

But it’s a photographic style, not a drawing, hence the hashtag. If it bothers you, you can mute my profile and you won’t see it.

I understand, my problem is less with ME seeing it, and more a larger issue with how AI is represented online. It seems you post a good amount of this stuff, so it felt like an apt conversation to have.

You know, it’s a very individual matter - for some people AI is great, others hate it, just like there were once opponents of digital photography, which was supposed to kill analog photography (and it did). You can’t run away from AI, and talking about it won’t change the future:-)

Totally, I get that. I think AI is super powerful for editing, and can help solve some big world problems. I don't think it will "kill" any media. But it is definitely important to consider how it's used and represented. My big issue is presenting AI photos as if they were taken physically.

I label my images as AI, so everything is fair. The boundary is fluid, and I can create an analog image identical to one made by AI, or use AI to create a traditional photograph. Photography is just a collection of digital signals, sometimes already processed by AI inside the camera:-)

Think it that way... They take gaz and they refined it... You are doing refinery work. And you can work only with already refined type of Gaz and remove or add-on molecules to create finest product But you are NOT the one extracting it from earth to refinery. The photographer he takes out from raw
