our legal system is bent and broken

Since when are court cases decided by petition? Is the judge dealing with this matter supposed to be influenced by this? I have reservations about the prosecution but petitions about live court proceedings seem to be equally an attack on the rule of law!

This whole business is well dodgy, what with terrorism aggravation appearing from nowhere.

One thing we know for sure about this country, all the norms for decent thinking have been lost, this is not the country of a couple of years ago, we are a fascist state with a few good people trying to hang on to some semblance of what is right!

“Capable” is a useful judicial word. It establishes what a listener might have thought, while postponing whether the listener would have been right. The particular identifies the impression. It does not rebut it.

This is disgusting. Something is not right with the judge that wants to punish Menon for mentioning an Old Bailey plague letting a jury know that they need now fear a trial judge.
