It's a bit rich for a former mayor and deputy mayor and schools chancellor to hold forth about how the mayor can change SHSAT admissions tomorrow if he wants to--when THEY did not do it. If it's so easy, why didn't it happen under the Adams administration when Banks was chancellor?

I think a lot of this is cart before the horse. The SHSAT is fair and equitable in and of itself. What isn't fair is access and prep. The issue isn't the high schools, it's the middle schools.
