The comedy we make at LRR… y'know, it could destroy civilization. It's simply SO funny, funnier than any human could conceive, it might be the end of all things. Obviously we're excited, but we also want to acknowledge that our comedy is simply too powerful and there is no choice but to submit.

I sort of read it as "we aren't going to see the monumental gains we promised investors, but we might squeeze a bailout if the government makes us stop."
