Saw RESIDENT EVIL and, beyond the various small references, I thought it really captured the feeling and narrative flow of an RE game. Really enjoyed it. The tone reminds of EVIL DEAD 2, but not quite as silly. It's violent, bloody, and tense while still being light-hearted and funny in places.

Is this one anything about the games or is it like the Uwe Boll ones where they just made up their own story and put the RE name on it?
