i'm stuck using facebook messenger because of reasons, the saving grace has been messenger.com ie just the messaging without the facebook. around february they announced they were closing that site in april. it had popups announcing this for a while. it's now nearly september and it still works?

I was using messenger lite until that got killed. Now I'm doing what little messenger messaging I need to do in Beeper instead. So far it's worked pretty well!
