Doug Ford IS a money waster. He really seems to be enacting some sort of teenage boy fantasy of, “if I were in charge….” Tunnel under 401, floating convention hall, destroy Science Centre, rip out bike lanes, screw over teachers and nurses. It’s part grievance, part a fool’s idea of cool.

My money is on him blaming 'Commie pedestrians' next.

The carbrained are incapable of understanding this. Same with making it difficult or dangerous to walk; it will not simply result in fewer pedestrians, it will result in more car traffic. If people need to go somewhere they will go, by foot, bike or car. Whichever works.

Heh, if they try this shit in my city, I'm gonna get off my bike, jump into my truck and make sure that morning commutes don't improve. I'm petty and it's the least I could do.
