I was looking over a list of some of the best games from 2025 and realizing that there are quite a few more that are still on my list to play which have received great reviews from critics and gamers. I've seen videos of these, but I haven't played them. But these 10 games look great! (A thread)

10 MORE GREAT 2025 GAMES WE SHOULD BE TALKING ABOUT 1. Monster Train 2 I'm no fan of deckbuilders, but everything I've heard about Monster Train 2 is that this is a game just about anyone can love. If it improves on the great foundations of the original, I know I'll enjoy it!

10 MORE GREAT 2025 GAMES WE SHOULD BE TALKING ABOUT 2. Duck Detective: The Ghost of Glamping The sequel to 2024's far too short Duck Detective: The Secret Salami looks like such a great film noir detective-style adventure, complete with film noir style and cute animals populating its world.

10 MORE GREAT 2025 GAMES WE SHOULD BE TALKING ABOUT 3. Lonely Mountains: Snow Riders I want a new SSX game so badly, and this game looks like it could scratch some of that itch while evolving the concept in a different direction with multiplayer and shifting camera angles to suit the course.

10 MORE GREAT 2025 GAMES WE SHOULD BE TALKING ABOUT 5. Elroy and the Aliens Yep, it's an old-school point and click adventure game in the style of the old LucasArts games, but Elroy and the Aliens also looks like a darn fun one. I love the art, the voice acting and the music!

10 MORE GREAT 2025 GAMES WE SHOULD BE TALKING ABOUT 6. Wyrmhall: Brush and Banter Wyrmhall is described as a "cozy comedy game," and that suits me just fine. The basic idea is that you're a goblin who cleans artifacts and talks to customers, but of course there's more to it than that!

10 MORE GREAT 2025 GAMES WE SHOULD BE TALKING ABOUT 7. Is This Seat Taken? This logic puzzler is about seating ornery characters near each other to maximize everyone's experience. I love the art and the concept, and it looks like a fun little casual game with some neat surprises to uncover!
