Thread of candidates to vote for in NYC today! I photographed all these folks at public events over the past couple of months. They're accessible and they care - unlike Cuomo! #NoCuomo Find your poll site here: vote.nyc First: Zohran Mamdani!

Mamdani wants to freeze the rent and make the buses free. He's a NYS Assembly member who went on a hunger strike to help win debt relief for taxi drivers in 2021. He's also a legit political phenomenon and it's really hard to take a bad picture of him lol. I ranked him #1 for mayor.

The great Brad Lander. Current NYC comptroller, long time progressive, straight up hero for standing up for immigrants and getting arrested by ICE. I ranked Lander #2.

Lander and Mamdani cross-endorsed each other. If you dig one, rank the other! They genuinely seem to like each other, which I love.

Adrienne Adams, current speaker of the New York City Council. Loads of experience, endorsed by the @nywfp.bsky.social along with Mamdani, Lander, and Myrie. I ranked her #3.

Zellnor Myrie. New York State Senator. His huge pitch is housing - he wants to build 1 million homes. I ranked him #5.

Lady Liberty break! Listen to her message - don't rank Cuomo! He didn't show up at the Foley Square rally after Lander was arrested by ICE - all the other candidates above did! Rank FIVE non-Cuomo candidates and we're gold. #NoCuomo #NeverCuomo

Oh, my God! My daughter and I were standing right behind that woman at that protest! I can't believe I missed you.

Just to reiterate - all of these other candidates were EASY for me as a regular joe with a camera to see in person and photograph over the past few weeks. Cuomo? Never around. He doesn't even go here, friends. Don't rank him.
