Had an absolutely spectacular time tabling at the #NYCC this year - thanks SO MUCH to everyone who came to the table or to my panels/signings! Incredibly good vibes - both comics and politics related - and I love y'all. Some highlights to follow...

This is absolutely the hugest thing - I put out a can for donations for @thenyic.bsky.social and folks kept throwing money into it all dang weekend! We raised $1329, all of which has been passed on to the New York Immigration Coalition. Hugely inspiring. ❤️ blacksky.community/profile/did:...

Also downloaded, printed, folded, and gave out a bunch of @meganpiont.bsky.social's incredible HOW TO REPORT ICE zines! Folks were THRILLED to see them and I gave 'em all away! blacksky.community/profile/did:...

You can download @meganpiont.bsky.social's HOW TO REPORT ICE zine and give 'em out yourself! She's got them for locations all around the country! Hero! drive.google.com/drive/folder...

SO MANY Bluesky folks came by the table! Dozens of y'all! Hugely appreciate you! And so many people were happy to see the political stuff, protest photos, and @thenyic.bsky.social fundraising can. We are not alone, friends, and if you have a platform, you can do little things to make a difference!

Got to do great panels, including a Comics & Advocacy panel organized by the great @lockettdown.bsky.social of @wincnyc.bsky.social! Regine does SO MUCH for the comics community & she could use some help herself. If you've got a few bucks, please consider her GFM! blacksky.community/profile/did:...

Got to be a surprise guest at a panel organized by @chrisarrant.bsky.social and @ashleyvrobinson.bsky.social with @pornsak.bsky.social and a semi-anonymous & awesome librarian where I got to say "Fuck 'A.i.'" to thunderous applause (at least that's how I remember it)!

Got to sign and do a panel with the amazing folks with the NYC DOE'S Civics for All Comics imprint! They are truly world-changers - creating diverse, accessible, and amazing non-fiction comics for kids - and I love 'em! blacksky.community/profile/did:...

And PLEASE be on the lookout for @alexsegura.bsky.social and @davidhahn.bsky.social's new Civics for All project - a KNOW YOUR RIGHTS comic for NYC public school kids! Literally the most important announcement out of this year's NYCC, if you ask me. ❤️ blacksky.community/profile/did:...

I was honored to be photographed and profiled by @togetherwemask.bsky.social. And I was happy to see more people masking this year than in previous years! blacksky.community/profile/did:...

Sat next to the awesome @ryandunlavey.com, who saved my can with a cool wooden stand for my display. @fredvanlente.bsky.social showed up on Sunday and made me laugh so hard over some bullshit that I wheezed like a cartoon character. Good buddies you've known for years are good. Highly recommended.
