Massive high five to everyone who came to the @handsoffnyc.bsky.social / @bkindivisible.bsky.social event at @anyonecomics.bsky.social today! Incredible turnout - filled the inside of the store and two tables outside! Folded about 800 zines and gave out loads of whistles and buttons and stickers!

And yes, you might recognize @fredvanlente.bsky.social @crystalskillman.bsky.social @mrtonynacho.bsky.social and @ethansacks.bsky.social in that photo! Loads of NYC people comics people showed up and ran the show - and MASSIVE thank you to Dimitrios at @anyonecomics.bsky.social who hosted us!

A glimpse of the inside of the shop. Four tables inside and two tables outside filled the whole time! And thanks to the Magic the Gathering players on the back two tables and tolerated our loud presence, ha ha!

Folks folded @meganpiont.bsky.social's HOW TO REPORT ICE zine, @twobitsofstring.bsky.social's HANDS OFF NYC zine, and colored @mags.colvett.online's incredible "WHOSE STREETS? OUR STREETS" posters. A SWELL TIME WAS HAD BY ALL!

Much coloring and decorating was done! These awesome FORM A CROWD STAY LOUD whistle zines never looked so good!

Lots of folks brought their kids! Who were awesome!

Look how cool @mags.colvett.online's "Whose streets? Our streets posters / ICE out of NYC" are! Also, when we temporarily ran out of zines to fold, I LOVED how the adults happily started coloring the posters.

The great @josephpillidge.bsky.social and @benkahncomics.bsky.social folding zines! Other amazing comics creators who helped run the event included @wendyxu.bsky.social @edidin.bsky.social @teaberryblue.net @attackerman.bsky.social @fredvanlente.bsky.social and @crystalskillman.bsky.social!

Huge thanks once again to everyone who came out to the @handsoffnyc.bsky.social / @bkindivisible.bsky.social event at @anyonecomics.bsky.social. Such great vibes!

AND people made their own posters! Which were awesome!
